This captures the stillness and loss I imagine one would feel in such a place.
Poignant…how such simple letters convey such great meaning.
It almost feels wrong clicking like on this image, but it is beautiful…
you can like my photographing skills! ha! 😉
I know it’s sad but I tried to make it beautiful so I’m glad you found it that way too in spite of the pain behind the fact.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Lovely but sad.

True. But that’s all I had on the theme…
It’s perfect, just sad.
I know. Walking around any memorial is a sad act and makes you think about a lot… I also remember the D-Day beaches in Normandy and the feeling of helplessness one feels when back where such dramatic events took place…
We were in Normandy a few years ago and it was very sobering. My father-in-law landed there on D-Day and was later in the Pacific, so it was even more meaningful.
